Mid Map

Today I was making mid map and I had to make heaps of them. I had to make heaps because there was no more space. It took me to long to do it.

When it was a Duffy assembly Duffy was making us laugh. When he was playing in the show. when he was the person that was playing he was trying to build he's castles. But same one knocked down he's castles and he s seed why. It took for 33 minutes. Duffy

was making same blocks lines with words and a woman. 

  

Visual Language - Tiger

Tiger looks like a rill Tiger but he's a cat but he play's with wool that mean's that he's a cat.

Zoo Recount

Auckland Zoo      

Have you ever been to the Zoo? I have. My class and I went to the zoo. We went because the Warehouse and the Ritchies  sponsored us to got the Zoo.

First when we first went into the zoo we went and looked at the red pandas. They were hiding in the trees. Then we went to see the monkeys. The Mokeys was climbing down the trees. 

Then we saw the siamang gibbons. They were very noisy. Then we went to see the turtle and it had a long neck and there were some goldfish. They were swimming around the pond and there were weeds because there were heaps of them.

  

We went to Hohepa and he showed us a Cheetah skin. But we went to the park and the other groups were there to.

We went to see the Kangaroos. They were up on the little hill they were going down the hill. Then we went to see Burma and Anjalie. They were putting bark on their backs because that is like sunblock.

I liked going to the zoo because I really don’t go there often. It was fun but the animal that I wanted to see was the meerkats.

Matariki

This week we went to the hall to celebrate Matariki. We had a sausage sizzle before we went to the hall. Whaea Odie and her husband donated the sausages for the school. The Junior Kapa haka was the first group to perform. After the junior kapa haka we watched a video about the 7 stars of Matariki. Then it was time for the pacifica group to perform. The last group that performed was the senior kapa haka.

Space Art

I drew a picture of a moon and I also drew different tips of circle in the moon. Then I shaded the little circle using my fingers. When my moon was done I used dye to colour the coffee fitters, I used hot and cold colours. Then I used big, small and medium circles to cut out circles from the coffee fitters. When all of that was done my teacher cut out a black cardboard paper and then we splashed white paint all over the black cupboard paper to make stars. Then we glued all of the circles and the moon on the black cardboard paper.
