My name is Canaan. I am Maori. I am in LS1 at Panmure Bridge School. I enjoy having fun at school because I like Maths and Reading. I enjoy having fun with my Mum in the pool.

Zoo Recount

Auckland Zoo      

Have you ever been to the Zoo? I have. My class and I went to the zoo. We went because the Warehouse and the Ritchies  sponsored us to got the Zoo.

First when we first went into the zoo we went and looked at the red pandas. They were hiding in the trees. Then we went to see the monkeys. The Mokeys was climbing down the trees. 

Then we saw the siamang gibbons. They were very noisy. Then we went to see the turtle and it had a long neck and there were some goldfish. They were swimming around the pond and there were weeds because there were heaps of them.

  

We went to Hohepa and he showed us a Cheetah skin. But we went to the park and the other groups were there to.

We went to see the Kangaroos. They were up on the little hill they were going down the hill. Then we went to see Burma and Anjalie. They were putting bark on their backs because that is like sunblock.

I liked going to the zoo because I really don’t go there often. It was fun but the animal that I wanted to see was the meerkats.
